About
David Getty (USA) and Stephanie Getty (Indonesia) received their Masters in Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design in 2010. They worked for Salmela Architect in Duluth, Minnesota (USA) before relocating to Jakarta, Indonesia in 2014. The two oversee design and production at Stephanie’s father’s woodworking shop, and launched Surrounding Objects in 2020. They are currently based in Melbourne, Australia.
